Encrypting web.config file
1. Open Command Prompt with Administrator mode
2. Move the directory to following:
cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
3. Type following command with your web.config file location.
Example: If your web.config file is located as D:\MyProject\web.config, type following command to encrypt.
ASPNET_REGIIS -pef "connectionStrings" "D:\MyProject\"
Note: The parameter “connectionStrings” is case sensitive.
